    Vision

Working to improve the health of our communities.

Catholic health care organizations are reaching beyond our walls to improve the health status of the communities we serve. We are partnering with our communities to improve the health and quality of life for everyone. In the last fiscal year, Catholic health facilities contributed more than $5.7 billion in services identified as community benefit — programs that provide treatment and promote health and healing in response to identified community need.

As part of our commitment to improving the health of our communities, we are working to address the needs of those without access to health care.

Catholic health facilities frequently provide more public health and specialty services than other health care providers. Our commitment to compassionate care often leads our organizations to provide services such as obstetrics, neonatal intensive care, psychiatric services, alcohol and drug abuse treatment, geriatric services, palliative care and hospice.
